Fee Schedule & Payment Terms

UPI: ₹0 to the couple, always. The payment network’s merchant charge (0.4%, capped at ₹300, and nothing on payments under ₹2,000) is shown on the vendor’s payout statement at exactly what Razorpay bills, with no Mangalyam margin. On paid plans Mangalyam covers it.

Vendor payout via Razorpay Route: when a vendor is paid out through Route, Razorpay charges a transfer fee of 0.25% plus 18% GST on that fee. Mangalyam passes this through to the vendor at cost, with no margin added. The deduction shown on a vendor’s payout is exactly what Razorpay bills for the transfer, nothing more. This fee applies only to Route payouts; it is not charged when a vendor is paid via the platform’s interim holding mode or via an off-platform recorded payment.

Card: a 2.5% card-processing fee plus 18% GST (2.95% all-in), paid by the couple, shown in rupees before you pay, and refunded with any refund of that payment. Vendors are never charged for card acceptance.

Off-platform payments you record (cash or direct bank transfer, noted in your ledger): ₹0, forever.

Payments are held for a fixed number of days after the couple pays before a vendor payout becomes eligible, based on milestone type: booking-advance milestones are held 1 day, interim milestones 3 days, and final-payment milestones 7 days. These are the platform’s current operating hold windows.

These hold windows apply under the platform’s interim payment-holding mode. Once Razorpay Route split-settlement is active for a vendor, funds split directly at transaction time under Route’s rules and the platform does not hold that vendor’s funds.

The platform never structures fund custody as escrow; it schedules, routes, records, and splits payments without itself holding buyer funds against future delivery beyond the stated hold windows.

Card payments are live. Standard-rate EMI (interest paid by the couple to the issuing bank) is available on card payments, subject to the couple’s card issuer offering EMI conversion. The card-processing fee in section 1 applies to the payment as made; the bank’s EMI interest is separate and is set by the bank.

No-cost EMI is vendor-subvented and opt-in per quote: a vendor can enable an "EMI-enabled" toggle on a specific quote to absorb the EMI interest cost as an upfront discount, so the couple sees a no-extra-cost instalment plan. The vendor sees the exact subvention cost before enabling it.

Refund eligibility, cancellation windows, and how a payout hold is affected by a refund are governed by the public Refund & Cancellation Policy at /refund-policy, not by this page. Any refund or fee dispute must reference the relevant quote, booking, and milestone IDs.

Couple storage packs are prepaid, one-off add-on purchases and are non-refundable once purchased. This is disclosed at the point of sale before payment.

Every wedding gets 5 GB of free photo storage. Photos that guests upload to the wall count toward it. You get a warning at 80% full, and new uploads stop at 100% until you add a pack.

Storage packs are one-off purchases, each valid for 12 months: 100 GB for ₹1,999, 500 GB for ₹7,999, 1 TB for ₹15,999. A pack adds to what you already have and never lowers it.

The price shown at checkout is the amount charged. No separate GST line is added at checkout. Packs are non-refundable once purchased (see section 4).

This fee schedule is part of the Terms of Service payments annex. A material change to the fee structure is published here and versioned together with the Terms of Service. When the Terms version changes, users whose acceptance is on an older version are re-prompted to accept the current version before continuing to use payment features. Acceptance is never carried forward silently.
