Access is scoped to who you are. A couple's assistant can work on your wedding plan, guests, and website. A vendor or agency account's assistant works on your CRM and quotes instead. Neither can reach the other side's data.
Mangalyam speaks MCP — the Model Context Protocol. Connect an AI assistant and you can plan events, invite guests by side, and update your wedding website just by asking in chat. Your assistant acts as you, secured by your Mangalyam sign-in.
Your endpoint
Point your assistant at this address:
https://mangalyam.io/api/mcpIt is secured with your Mangalyam sign-in — the assistant can only ever see and do what your own account can.
Connect Claude
- Open claude.ai (or the Claude desktop app) and go to Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the endpoint above.
- Sign in with your Mangalyam account when Claude opens the connection window.
- Review the access Claude is asking for and approve it.
Exact menu names shift as Claude's app updates — look for "Connectors" or "Custom connector".
Connect ChatGPT

- Add a connector using the endpoint above.
- Sign in with your Mangalyam account and approve the access.
What your assistant can do
Your assistant only gets the tools that fit your account:
Disconnect anytime
Go to Settings → Security → Connected AI apps to see every assistant you've connected and revoke any of them. Revoking cuts off access immediately.
