On Guests, every guest carries a side and can be invited to any number of your events. Together they keep headcounts honest as the list grows.
Tag a guest's side
Open a guest (or add a new one) and use the Side control: Bride's, Groom's or Both. It shows as a chip on the guest's row, so the list stays scannable without opening every entry. To note how someone is connected, use the free-text Relationship field, for example "Uncle" or "Cousin".
The filter row covers response state and VIP, not side. To see one side at a time, scan the chips or use the Side column in a CSV export.
Invite guests to events
Each guest can be invited to one or more of your events, and you can set how many people they're bringing to each one. The event strip above the list shows a chip per event with its expected headcount: everyone invited who hasn't declined, including guests still waiting to reply. Select an event's chip to filter the list to that event's guests and adjust counts inline.
Because pending guests are counted, the number is your working estimate for catering and seating, not a final confirmed count.
RSVPs and follow-ups
The filter row above the list (All, Confirmed, Declined, Pending, VIP) groups guests by where they stand. Select Pending to see everyone who hasn't replied.
To follow up with someone, open their row and use Copy RSVP link. If they haven't been invited to an event yet, use Assign to Event & Generate RSVP Link. Then send the link yourself; Mangalyam doesn't send reminders automatically.
