For photographers, caterers, decorators and planners running their business on Mangalyam.
Capture the enquiry
WhatsApp messages don't land in your pipeline on their own. When a couple messages you there, open Leads and click Add lead. Enter their name, a phone number or email, the event date if they've mentioned it, and a budget band if you know it. The lead lands on your board in the New stage, tagged "Added by you", so you can tell it apart from enquiries that came through your marketplace listing or profile page.
Enquiries that start on Mangalyam (marketplace enquiries, RFQs and Inbox threads) show up by themselves. You don't need to add those again.
Move it down the pipeline
Your board runs through New, Contacted, Qualified, Quote sent, Negotiation, Won and Lost. Drag a lead's card to the next stage as the conversation moves, or open the lead and change its stage there. Each card also has a WhatsApp link to that contact's number, for when you just need to reply fast.
Keep every lead moving
Open a lead to log what happened. Log call and Add note cover a phone conversation or anything worth remembering. Log WhatsApp records that you messaged them. The template menu next to it goes further: pick a template and it fills in the couple's name, event and date, opens WhatsApp with the message ready, and logs the send for you.
Under Add a task, add a task with a due date when you need to come back to something, like following up after a venue visit.
The board also flags leads that need a nudge. A lead that's gone quiet, an overdue task, or a quote within three days of expiring shows at the top, so nothing goes cold while you're busy with the next enquiry.
